Welcome to my macro world...

Yeah, this is a real variety, as I tend to think anything I come across is a macro challenge, especially since I want to try to hand hold the camera rather than use a tripod. Anything is game, absolutely anything. Ok, maybe not roadkill, that might be crossing the line of somewhat good taste. But I love to see what I can get a sharp shot of, no matter if it is bug or flower or Ninja warrior holding a stick of gum. I upgraded my lens now so some of these are taken with the lens without image stabilizer, some with it. I just can't seem to get bored of taking macro shots. I am not sure all of these pictures are actually classified as macro photography, but I don't really know what I am doing so I am not going to really worry about it. They were shot with a macro lens, if that helps. :-)

Mossy fence post, in case it is unidentifiable.

Future wine (baby wild grapes) with an action used for "atmosphere".

Science experiment with my grandson, Tryston. He added blue food coloring to
the water for some cut white petunias.

Not a very good spider shot, but he was really fast and tiny. And a bit creepy.
